Description
Journalist for Nuansamalut.com named Aksal Muin's phone was confiscated while reporting at the North Maluku High Court, Wednesday, November 16, 2022.
That day, Aksal along with several other journalists will interview the Mayor of Ternate M Tauhid Soleman, after being questioned at the North Maluku District Attorney.
When Aksal took a picture of the Mayor of Ternate, the Mayor's aide, Chief Police Brigadier Stenly, immediately seized Aksal's cell phone. He blocked Aksal's activities and said "Don't be like that,".
The aide allegedly wanted to delete the photo, and only then return it to journalists, after being reprimanded by the mayor. The reporter finally picked up the phone.
